Abstract:
Taking‘Shangqie 2’eggplant as the test materials,the different concentrations (0,0.01,0.05,0.10,0.50,1.00 mg·L
-1)of 2,4-epbrassinolipid (EBR)was used under low temperature(15℃/5℃),the effects of EBR on the chilling injury index,malondialdehyde content,antioxidant enzyme activity and seedling growth indexes were studied,in order to provide reference for the study of the mechanism of EBR improving cold tolerance of eggplant.The results showed that the appropriate concentration of exogenous EBR could effectively reduce the damage of eggplant seedlings under low temperature stress.Among them,the treatment of 0.10 mg·L
-1 EBR showed the best effect.The chilling injury index of the seedlings was significantly reduced compared with the control under low temperature stress.The plant height,stem diameter,fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings significantly increased by 33.35%,77.62%,55.40%,34.73%respectively.At the same time,the treatment of 0.10mg·L
-1 EBR could significantly reduce the accumulation of MDA in seedling leaves,while it could significantly improve the activities of SOD,POD and CAT in the leaves of eggplant seedling.In conclusion,spraying of 0.10mg·L
-1 EBR could effectively increase the low temperature tolerance of eggplant seedlings,which was beneficial to the cultivation of strong eggplant seedlings.
