Abstract: Capparis spinosa L.are distributed in the Mediterranean, Central Asia and West Asia, and have important medicinal, ecological and economic values.Despite its wide distribution, C.spinosa have become endangered plants due to unreasonable development and lack of effective propagation techniques, so it is of great significance to carry out research on genetic diversity and propagation techniques of C.spinosa.This study was based on the two perspectives of genetic diversity and reproductive technology of C.spinosa.The research methods and results of genetic diversity of C.spinosa at home and abroad were summarized, and the propagation techniques of C.spinosa were summarized from three aspects: seed sexual propagation, cutting and tissue culture, in order to provide reference for genetic diversity conservation and cultivation utilization of C.spinosa.
