Abstract:
Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa var.glabra) variety ‘Kangda No.3’ was used as experimental material, the peat, coir pith and perlite were mixed in different proportions to carry out seedling experiment to study the effects of different matrix ratio on the growth of Chinese cabbage and the correlation among different variables by using the mixed material design method. The regression analysis and the canonical aralysis method were used on the ratio of mdrix, the physicochemical properhes of sabstrate and growth index of seedling, in order of provide ideas for the establishment and application of seedling matrix matching model. The results showed that replacing some peat with coir pith and adding perlite could improve the physicochemical properties of matrix and increase the permeability and water retention. And the content of coir pith in the substrate was positively correlated with plant height, but too high was not conducive to the accumulation of fresh material on the ground.Among the 10 formulations in this study, comprehensive growth index including plant height, root length, leaf area, aerial parts fresh weight, strong seedling index economic and ecological benefit analysis showed that 45% peat+51% coconut bran+4% perlite is the best formula for Chinese cabbage seedling.
