Abstract:
‘Shudumi’ is a new early-ripening pear cultivar bred by crossing ‘Jinhua’ × ‘Zaosu’.The species tree posture moderate, tree posture half open.The 1-year-old branches are yellowish brown, with small lenticels and sparse distribution.Leaves long oval, leaf margin acute serrated; each inflorescence 5-9 flowers, anther light pink, style is higher than the anther, with short fruit branch results.Fruit spindle-shaped, smooth surface, yellow-green, small fruit spots; the average fruit weight is 231.5 g.The flesh is white, crisp, less stone cells, sweet and rich in flavor.The soluble solids content(w, the same after) is 13.7%,the soluble sugar content is 8.43%,the titratable acid content is 0.22%,and the fruit hardness is 8.34 kg·cm
-2.It blooms in early March and matures in early July in Chongzhou, Chengdu.The fruit development period is about 115 days.Adaptability and resistance is good, biological and economic traits stable, suitable for planting in Sichuan, Chongqing and other plains and hilly pear ecological zone.
