Abstract:
The inhibitory effects of the ethanol extracts of Illicium verum,Zanthoxylum bungeanum,Rosa roxburghii and Incarvillea argutaat the different concentrations (0,12.5,25.0,50.0mg·m L
-1and 100.0 mg·mL
-1)against the pathogen, one of the postharvest fungi in ‘Hongyang’ kiwifruit, were determined by mycelial growth rate method. The results showed that the ethanol extracts of these Chinese medicine could apparently inhibit the mycelial growth of Phomopsis sp.,but they showed the different inhibitory effects at the same concentration. When the lowest concentration of extracts was 12.5 mg·mL
-1,the inhibitory rates of I.verum,Z.bungeanum,R.roxburghii and I.arguta were 46.82%,53.57%,38.49% and 50.80%,respectively.When the concentration was 100.0mg·mL
-1,their inhibitory rates were 86.11%,83.73%,66.67% and 82.14% with EC
50 values of15.64,8.76,28.48mg·mL
-1and 9.77 mg·mL
-1,respectively.These results in dicated that all four traditional Chinese medicine extracts showed different increasing of inhibitory effects on Phomopsissp.with increasing of concentration and can be used as future plant fungicides.
