Abstract:
The fine Macadamia integrifolia variety of ‘HAES695’ was used as experimental materials, with seedling bag cultivation method, six different substrates(CK,T1-T5) were used. The effects of different substrate ratios on nutrient content of the substrate and the growth of Macadamia integrifolia seedlings were studied, in order to screen out the suitable substrate ratio for the growth of Macadamia integrifolia seedling. The results showed that there were significant or extremely significant correlation between the growth of Macadamia integrifolia seedlings and the contents of substrate nutrients and total phosphorus in leaves.Plant height and ground diameter were significantly positively correlated with available phosphorus, organic matter and hydrolytic nitrogen, and negatively correlated with total phosphorus of leaves, respectively. The growth of Macadamia integrifolia seedlings were significantly promoted by different substrate ratios, among which T3 treatment was the best, and the contents of available phosphorus, organic matter and hydrolytic nitrogen were significantly higher than those of other treatments. The average plant height was 53.60 cm, which was 86.96% higher than CK,the average diameter of the earth was 10.06 mm, which was 34.13% more than that of CK.In conclusion, the growth of Macadamia integrifolia seedlings and the nutrient contents of Macadamia integrifolia were significantly improved by different substrate ratios. The best substrate ratios was T3 treatment, that was V(domestic substrate)∶V(topsoil)=3∶1.
