Abstract: Chrysanthemum indicum var.aromaticum is a perennial herb of Chrysanthemum in Compositae.It is mainly distributed in Shennongjia, Hubei Province, where is above 2 600 m.It has important medicinal and economic values.Through literature research in recent ten years of C.indicum var.aromaticum,the research status of the aroma characteristics in C.indicum var. aromaticum summarized, and provided reference for the high-value utilization and aroma breeding of Chrysanthemum.
