Abstract: The use of plants to remediate environmental pollution had became one of the important means to solved environmental problems.By analyzing and summarizing the mechanism of phytoremediation technology, enhancing the means of phytoremediation technology, and selecting plants for remediation, this study reviewed the application of phytoremediation technology in soil, water, sediment, and air pollution in recent years, indicating that plants had great application prospects in environmental pollution remediation.The current problems faced by phytoremediation technology and future research directions were also proposed.
