Abstract: Guangxi is one of the top ten producing areas of traditional Chinese medicine, and there are abundant medicinal materials resources.Based on the data of 81 Chinese medicine planting professional cooperatives in Guangxi, this study analyzed the development status of professional cooperatives of traditional Chinese medicine planting in Guangxi by means of literature research, data analysis, comparative research and case study.Then, we summarized the advantages and disadvantages of cooperatives.The results showed that Guangxi traditional Chinese medicine planting professional cooperative had obvious advantages in location, significant role in poverty alleviation and good development momentum, but there were also some problems such as low cultural quality of members, weak brand awareness, insufficient self-construction, lack of professional personnel, imperfect legal system and policies.Based on the analysis results, we put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine planting professional cooperatives in Guangxi, in order to provide new ideas and scientific direction for accelerating the development of Guangxi traditional Chinese medicine planting professional cooperatives, improving the rural economy and promotingthe rural revitalization.
