‘Baojiao No.1’ is a new processing pepper variety selected by the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Science in Baotou with self-selected line 1717 as the female parent and self-selected line 1121 as the male parent.The fruit of this variety has bright color, moderate spiciness and fragrance, good quality, average single fruit weight is 7.85 g, capsanthin content is 180.89 μg· g
-1,water content is 860 μg· g
-1,easy to dry and suitable for processing.June 2020 through the national registration of non-major crop varieties, suitable for open cultivation in Inner Mongolia.
