Abstract: Temperate continental monsoon plateau climate in the Northwest of Hebei Province consist of sufficient sunshine, large temperature difference between day and night, rain and heat in the same season, and are suitable for the production and cultivation of lettuce in the open ground.By selecting good varieties, cultivating strong seedlings, rationally preparing and applying fertilizer, strengthening cultivation management, scientifically controlling disease and pests and other technical measures, high-yield and high-quality lettuce are realized in the Northwest of Hebei Province.
