Abstract: The nutritional value of pumpkin is high,which is rich in vitamins and minerals with huge potential market.According to the different needs of consumers and producers,the research status of several main breeding targets of pumpkin,such as dwarf,rind color,flavor,resistance to powdery mildew,etc.,was reviewed,and suggestions were put forward for the existing problems of pumpkin,in order to provide reference for the breeding of new varieties of pumpkin.
