Abstract: ‘Yujiao No.2’ is a new variety of fresh and processing pepper variety selected by the Agriculture Company Limited of Jiayuguan Ruideer in Gansu with self-selected line ‘LJ2015’ as the female parent and self-selected line ‘XJ-1-3-6-4’ as the male parent.The plant has strong growth vigor and successive fruit setting ability.It′s fruit is of horn shape with wrinkled surface.The fruit of this variety has bright red color.The vitamin C content of the fruit is 97.90 mg·（100g）^-1,soluble solid content is 4.6%,and capsaicin content is 160 mg·kg^-1.The variety is high spiciness and fragrance, good quality.Average single fruit weight is 45 g, easy to dry and suitable for processing.It is suitable for open-field cultivation in early spring in Gansu Province.
