Abstract:
The leaves of succulent Echeveria runyonii ‘Topsy Turvy’ were used as materials, the scale cutting method was used, the effects of the different type cutting media proportion and different growth regulators concentration on bud induction and embellishment by scale cutting were studied, in order to explore the optimal conditions for bud induction and embellishment of Echeveria runyonii ‘Topsy Turvy’ and provide a reference for the large-scale breeding of high-quality seedlings of succulent plants. The results showed that vermiculite was the best medium for inducing buds and new heads, the induced buds and new heads of each leaf were 2.4 and 2.0 respectively 90 days later, and the survival rate was as high as 100%;KT and 2,4-D did not promote the induction of buds, branches and leaves, but NAA,6-BA,IBA,IAA and GA
3 could do them; 20 mg·L
-1 NAA soaking for 20 minutes was the best treatment, which induced 4.8,3.2 and 36.8 buds, new heads and leaves respectively; the best combination of growth regulators for induced patching was 80 mg·L
-1 NAA+800 mg·L
-1 6-BA mixed solution.
