Abstract: The new tropical Nymphaea cultivar ‘Lan Zi Fei’ is select from the seedlings of N. ‘Paul Stetson’.It is a large plant, double petals, star shaped, with blue purple and white complex petals.The flower diameter is 18-22 cm, petal number is 23-27.Pedicel is erect and emergence height above water is 17-24 cm.Flowers are abundant and large, fragrant, with 4 sepals.Leaves surface are green and irregularly distributed dark purple patches, ovate, with irregularly dentate margin.The average leaf area is 36 cm×33 cm.Day blooming, one flower opens 3-4 days, florescence is from May to November.It grows well in full light and can live through the winter naturally in Nanning.
