Effects of Copper Sulfate on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Muskmelon

摘要: 以‘蟋蟀羊角蜜’甜瓜种子为试材,以蒸馏水处理作为对照,测量不同浓度(50、100、150、300、500 mg·L-1)硫酸铜处理甜瓜种子后的发芽数、浸出液电导率以及幼苗的根长、根体积、干鲜质量等指标,并计算分析发芽率、活力指数、根冠比等相关指标,研究了不同浓度硫酸铜对甜瓜种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响,以期为甜瓜的研究与利用提供参考依据。结果表明:低浓度硫酸铜可以促进甜瓜种子萌发,较高浓度硫酸铜对甜瓜种子的萌发具有抑制作用,当硫酸铜浓度为100 mg·L-1时,甜瓜种子萌发促进效果最好,此时发芽率、干鲜质量、根冠比分别为94.67%、0.014 6 g、0.063 4 g、0.542 5,与CK相比分别提高6.77%、5.80%、16.12%、11.46%。当浓度为150 mg·L-1时,对种子萌发出现抑制作用,随着硫酸铜浓度的增加抑制作用加强,当硫酸铜浓度为500 mg·L-1时,抑制效果最明显,此时发芽率、干鲜质量、根冠比分别为80.00%、0.012 5 g、0.044 5 g、0.404 6,与CK相比分别下降9.78%、10.07%、18.50%、16.87%,不同浓度硫酸铜种子浸出液电导率的回归模型为y=0.576 9x0.173 3,R2=0.951 7。Abstract: Taking ‘Cricket Horn Honey’ melon seeds as the test material, treated with distilled water as control, and different concentrations(50,100,150,300,500 mg·L-1) copper sulfate treatment of melon seeds were set, the number of germination, the conductivity of the extract, the root length, root volume, dry and fresh weight of the seedlings were measured.The germination rate, vigor index, root shoot ratio and other related indicators were calculated and analyzed.The effects of different concentrations of copper sulfate on the germination and seedling growth of melon seeds, in order to provide reference for the research and utilization of melon.The results showed that low concentration of copper sulfate could promote the germination of melon seeds, and higher concentration of copper sulfate had an inhibitory effect on the germination of melon seeds.When the concentration of copper sulfate was 100 mg·L-1,the effect of promoting the germination of melon seeds was the best.At this time, the germination rate, plant dry and fresh weight, and root shoot ratio were 94.67%,0.014 6 g, 0.063 4 g, and 0.542 5,respectively, which were increased by 6.77%,5.80%,16.12%,11.46% compared with CK.When the concentration was 150 mg·L-1,it had an inhibitory effect on seed germination.As the concentration of copper sulfate increases, the inhibitory effect strengthens.When the concentration of copper sulfate was 500 mg·L-1,the inhibitoryeffect was the heaviest, and germination occurs at this time.The germination ratio, dry and fresh weight, root shoot ratio were 80.00%,0.012 5 g, 0.044 5 g, 0.404 6,respectively, which were 9.78%,10.07%,18.50%,16.87% lower than that of CK.The regression model was y=0.576 9x0.173 3,R~2=0.951 7.
