Abstract:
The extraction and separation process of total alkaloids from Trollius chinensis Bunge was optimized by response surface methodology.The antioxidant and antibacterial activities of total alkaloids were studied, in order to provide reference for the further development and comprehensive utilization of Trollius chinensis Bunge.The results showed that the best conditions for extraction and separation of total alkaloids were as follow, ethanol concentration 90%,liquid-solid ratio 39∶1 mL·g
-1,ultrasonic power 400 W,ultrasonic time 32 minutes, total alkaloids yield was 0.844 mg·g
-1.The IC
50(half maximal inhibitory concentration) values of total alkaloids on DPPH,ABTS free radical, and superoxide anion scavenging rate were 0.016,0.036 mg·mL
-1and 4.404 mg·mL
-1,and the MIC values of total alkaloids against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were 1.990 mg·mL
-1 and 1.330 mg·mL
-1.This study preliminarily confirmed that Trollius chinensis Bunge was rich in alkaloids, which had strong antioxidant and antibacterial activities.
