Abstract: China is a big grape cultivation, each year from grape pruning branches management to produce a large number of abandoned, poses a great burden to the ecological environment.In addition, the grape branches contain a large amount of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin and other organic matter, the processed can become a good renewable organic energy.At present, the grape stems resource utilization research mainly focused on the nutrient composition analysis, using as the cultivation matrix, composting treatment and functional material, etc.This study mainly introduced the latest research progress in the comprehensive utilization of grape branches in recent years, analyzed the problems existing in the utilization process of grape branches, and proposed corresponding countermeasures, providing references for the in-depth development and high-value utilization of discarded branches in vineyard production, broadening the comprehensive utilization of grape branch resources, protecting the environment and promoting the sustainable development of grape and wine industries.
