Abstract: Based on the analysis of current situation of vegetable industry of Inner Mongolia, the advantages of the vegetable industry were discussed in the paper, including the policy, location and land, climate and germplasm resources, science and technology system, etc.Some difficulties were also revealed for the vegetable industry.Six measures were put forward to promote the high-quality development of the vegetable industry, which were strengthening top level planning and policy support, increasing scientific and technological innovation, creating the development pattern of the whole industrial chain, improving the level of mechanization and informatization, innovating the production and operation mode and improving the circulation and marketing mode.Finally, the high-quality development strategy of vegetable industry was put forward, which implemented the ‘two three four five’ plan and achieved the ‘two goals’ by policy supported and development measures, and ultimately builded 100 billion level industrial cluster, and drived rural revitalization and farmers, income increase.
