Abstract:
In order to promote the screening and breeding process of heat-tolerant rose germplasm resources, the effects of high temperature stress on the rose appearance, yield and quality, physiological and biochemical(including cell membrane permeability, osmotic adjustment substance content, and antioxidant enzyme activity) were summarized.Briefly, described the research status of the response mechanism of the rose under high temperature stress.Simultaneously, set forth the screening of heat resistance indicators for rose, evaluation of heat tolerance of germplasm resources, and the progress in heat-resistant rose breeding.It was concluded that compared with other flowers, rose was currently focused on the heat tolerance evaluation of germplasm resources, while the high temperature response mechanism and heat-resistant variety breeding were relatively lagging.With global warming, high temperature stress has become an important environmental factor for rose in recent ye ars.It is necessary to study the corresponding mechanism in combination with multi-omics to promote the screening and breeding process of heat-resistant rose germplasm to meet the demand for heat-resistant rose varieties in East China.
