Abstract: As the first pepper producer and consumer in the world,the healthy development of pepper industry is of great significance to ensure the perennial stable supply of pepper and the growth of farmers.The current development situation of pepper in our country is good,which is reflected in the production scale of the world’s first,the continuous optimization of industrial layout,the continuous improvement of the cultivation and processing level of pepper facilities,good economic benefits,and the pepper seed industry does not worry about the ’neck jam problem’,but still faces some challenges,For example,the mechanization level is low,the innovation of pepper seed industry needs to be improved,the difficulty of disease and pest control is increased,the industrialization and internationalization level of pepper processing is low,and the market and sales system is not perfect,so we should enhance the mechanization level of pepper production,promote the innovation ability of pepper breeding,complete the pepper breeding pest control,upgrading the pepper processing and improve the pepper market sales system.
