Abstract: Blueberry industry is a distinctive industry in Jiangsu Province, which has achieved rapid development in recent years and made important contributions to poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, in order to further improve the quality and efficiency, and ensure the sustainable development of blueberry industry in Jiangsu Province, the current situation of blueberry cultivation and scientific research in Jiangsu Province were summarized through field investigation, interview and literature review, the characteristics in planting scale, brand effect, enterprise lead and industrial efficiency were concluded, and it was believed that the growth with light substrate, the growth sheltering from rain, the integration of agriculture, tourism and culture, and the processing with high value would become trends for blueberry industrial development.At the same time, this study also pointed out that there were some mainly problems in blueberry industry in Jiangsu Province, including the shortage of excellent varieties, the low added value of processed products, the lack of standardized growth techniques, the deficiency of labor worker, and the disjoint of research, production and application, and also put forward corresponding suggestions to those problems.
