Abstract:
The small berry has the unique health care nutrition value, the fine processing performance, in the world scope, is listed as the third generation fruit tree species, and gradually becomes the current high-end market hot development product, has obtained the consumer and the planter′s attention.The research on small berry fruit trees started late in the scientific research of various forest fruits in Xinjiang.With the improvement of people′s living standard and the change of consumption concept, the small berry industry is rising gradually.In recent years, Xinjiang has continued to promote the development of seabuckthorn, medlar and other small berry industry, actively building strawberry, raspberry, fig, mulberry and other picking garden.Making use of the abundant light and heat resources in Xinjiang, as well as the environmental characteristics of large temperature difference between day and night and long sunshine time, to produce high-quality small berries, actively introducing processing enterprises, and continuously developing deep-processed products of small berries, the small berry industry has become one of the characteristic industries in Xinjiang.This study introduced the development trend of small berry industry at home and abroad, the current situation, advantages, problems and suggestions of small berry industry in Xinjiang, the results provided reference for the sustainable and healthy development of small berry industry in Xinjiang.
