Abstract: ‘Jinhongbao’ is an early maturing watermelon cultivar developed by crossing C9935 as female parent and Kbx8-5 as male parent, and it is a new watermelon variety with large fruit, high yield, high quality and high resistance.The fruit shape is oval, and the pericarp is hard and tough.The flesh is red, crisp and juicy.The content of soluble solids in the center is 11.5%,and the content of soluble solids in the edge is 8.6%.The whole growth period is 98-102 days, and the fruit development period is 29-32 days.The weight of single melon is 5.2-6.0 kg and the yield is 70 500-75 000 kg·hm^-2.High resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew.Suitable for Wuwei, Baiyin, Lanzhou, Qingyang and Longnan in Gansu.
