Abstract: Kiwifruit is not tolerant to drought and waterlogging.It is suitable to grow in acidic soil and warm, humid and sunny environment.Selecting suitable kiwifruit rootstock can improve the adaptability of kiwifruit to the environment, produce high-quality seedlings, establish high-quality seedling breeding technology system, improve the success rate of garden construction and early fruiting.It is also an important means to deal with biotic and abiotic stresses.In this study, the literature review of kiwifruit rootstock research at home and abroad in recent years was carried out, and the research status of kiwifruit rootstock, the influence of kiwifruit growth and fruit quality were elaborated and analyzed,in order to provide reference and basis for the targeted use of rootstock in kiwifruit production.It is pointed out that the influence of rootstock on scion varieties is complex,and it is necessary to select and use rootstock according to local conditions,so as to promote the development of kiwifruit industry.
