Abstract:
Morchella sextelata strain 6611 and Morchella importuna strain M2018 were selected for testing.Using the method of mycelium culture, the effects of 11 types of carbon sources and 7 types of nitrogen sources on the hyphal growth and sclerotial formation of the two strains were studied,in order to provide a reference for preparing Morchella spp.strains, optimize liquid culture conditions, and develop related functional health products. The results showed that the hyphae of the two strains could grow in the tested carbon and nitrogen sources. In particular, strain 6611 showed good hyphal growth in the medium containing maltose,glucose,mannitol,sorbitol,D-galactose,sodium nitrate, and ammonium tartrate. In the medium containing sorbitol,lactose,D-galactose,starch,sodium nitrate, and ammonium tartrate, however, sclerotia were formed more and mostly in the form of small yellow or brown particles distributed near the edge.Strain M2018 showed good hyphal growth in the medium containing maltose, starch, glucose, lactose, sodium nitrate, diammonium hydrogen phosphate, and ammonium tartrate. In the medium containing sorbitol,D-ribose,D-galactose,sodium nitrate, diammonium hydrogen phosphate, and ammonium tartrate, sclerotia were formed more and mostly in the form of yellow or brown spheres and blocks distributed near the edge.In the urea medium,no sclerotium was formed.
