Abstract:
Soil physical and chemical properties of Nanhai Wetland in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia was used as test material, soil nutrient nutrient distribution characteristics and their influencing factors in different seasons(spring, summer and autumn) of Nanhai Wetland in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia were analyzed based on field sampling and lab analysis methods, in order to provide reference for the evaluation of soil quality in the region. The results showed that, 1)the soil physicochemical indexes in Baotou Nanhai Wetland all conformed to normal distribution.Among them, total salinity, organic matter, total nitrogen and total phosphorus all had strong variability, indicating a large degree of variation in these four indicators in different seasons.2) The average soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium contents in different seasons ranged from 9.59 to 18.80 g·kg
-1,0.36 to 0.70 g·kg
-1,0.67 to 1.07 g·kg
-1 and 16.21 to 22.39 g·kg
-1,respectively.3) Total salinity, organic matter, total nitrogen and total phosphorus of each soil layer showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing with season, and soil pH and total potassium showed a decreasing trend with the season.4) Soil bulk density, soil moisture, total soil porosity, soil capillary porosity and soil non-capillary porosity varied with increasing soil depth within the same season.Soil total salinity, organic matter, total nitrogen and total phosphorus showed an accumulative decrease with soil depth.5) Redundancy analysis(RDA) revealed that pH and season were the potential drivers affecting soil nutrients in Nanhai Wetland.pH had dominant effect on soil nutrients amounting to 37.90% in Nanhai Wetland. The results will provide reference for the revegetation, ecological restoration and scientific management of the Yellow River wetland in Baotou.
