Abstract:
‘Drett 11’ cucumber was used as the test material, the effects of substrate species A1(charcoal∶perlite∶vermido=4∶1∶1),A2(fine sand∶coir=1∶1),A3(fine sand, garden soil) and substrate mulching methods W1(plastic film mulch) and W2(benzene plate cover) on the growth index, biomass index and yield of cucumber were studied by substrate cultivation method, in order to provide reference for the efficient cultivation of vegetable substrate in the facility in the future. The results showed that the monitoring indexes of cucumber under substrate cultivation were better than those under soil culture control. The plant height, stem thickness, leaf area, leaf SPAD value in the middle of the fruiting period and dry fresh weight of aerial parts of cucumber under W1A2 treatment were the best. The yield and irrigation water productivity of cucumber under W2A2 treatment were better than those of other treatments. At the same time, the comprehensive analysis of principal component analysis method showed that the comprehensive score of W1A2 treatment was the highest, followed by W2A2 treatment. Therefore, from the comprehensive analysis, the cultivation substrate was fine sand∶coir=1∶1,and the mulching method was more favorable for the growth of cucumbers when the cover method was benzene plate.
