Abstract: ‘Qianyan Lijiao’ is a new pepper F₁ hybrid of fresh type which can be reapped earlier, developed by crossing inbred line ‘YH001’as female parent and inbred line ‘SY2009-1’as male parent.The fruit is long line shape.The immature fruit which can be saled is dark green in color.Its fruit is 0.8 cm in width, 24.3 cm in length and 0.2 cm in thickness.The single fresh fruit weight is 12.4 g.The fruit tastes spicy slightly.The vitamin C content is 210.2 mg·（100g）^-1and capsaicin content is 0.001 25%.In fields, it has resistance to CMV,TMV,anthrax and epidemic disease.It is lodging-resistant, drought-tolerant and waterlogging intolerance.It can yield about 2 111.9 kg per 667 m~2.It is suitable for cultivation in open fields in Guizhou Province in the spring and summer.
