Abstract: Through field investigation, the present situation and existing problems of bagging in ‘Hanfu’ orchard in Shenyang were summarized and analyzed.It was found that ‘Hanfu’ apple bagging production was facing the problem of extreme labor shortage and serious aging of employees, which has become an important factor in increase of production cost.In addition, the overall apple price has continued to decline in recent years, and the production efficiency of ‘Hanfu’ apple has decreased significantly.The following suggestions are put forward for the bag-free cultivation and production of ‘Hanfu’ apple: actively publicize the advantages of bag-free apple, improve the bag-free cultivation technology system, establish a bag-free cultivation technology demonstration garden, strengthen training, and guide fruit growers to gradually shift from bagging to bag-free production.It is expected that fruit growers and consumers will change their inherent views on apple bagging, promote the orchard production mode from bagging, and realize cost saving and efficiency increase.
