Abstract:
Two-year-old Actinidia arguta varieties under protected cultivation environment were used as test materials. The chlorophyll content of leaves was determined by alcohol ethanol extraction method, and the photosynthetic physiological indexes such as photosynthetic parameters and light response curve were determined by Li-6400 XT portable photosynthesis instrument. The differences of photosynthetic characteristics of leaves of four Actinidia arguta varieties under protected cultivation environment were studied, in order to screen out suitable cultivated varieties in Alar Reclamation Area of Xinjiang and provide basic data for high yield and high quality cultivation. The results showed that the chlorophyll content of four Actinidia arguta varieties ‘Longcheng No.2’ was the highest. The diurnal variation curves of net photosynthetic rate(Pn) and stomatal conductance(Gs) were bimodal, and the diurnal variation curve of transpiration rate(Tr) was unimodal. The order of net photosynthetic rate(Pn) was ‘Longcheng No.2’>‘Kuilyu’>‘Bingo’>‘Kangtian’.The light saturation point(LSP) and light compensation point(LCP) of ‘Kuilyu’ were higher, the maximum net photosynthetic rate(Pnmax) and dark respiration rate(Rd) of ‘Longcheng No.2’ were higher, ‘Bingo’ was in the middle, and ‘Kangtian’ was the lowest.Photosynthetically active radiation(PAR) had a greater impact on net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs),transpiration rate(Tr),intercellular CO
2 concentration(Ci),ambient temperature(Ta),air relative humidity(RH) and other parameters followed. The cumulative variance contribution rate was 96.515%,and the comprehensive score order of the four Actinidia arguta varieties was ‘Longcheng No.2’>‘Kuilyu’>‘Bingo’>‘Kangtian’.In summary, ‘Longcheng No.2’ had higher photosynthetic capacity, better water use efficiency, and stronger adaptability to light. It was more suitable for growth under protected cultivation in southern Xinjiang, followed by ‘Kuilyu’ and ‘Bingo’,and ‘Kangtian’ was the weakest.
