Abstract:
Cremastra appendiculata(D.Don) Makino is a perennial medicinal herb of Orchidaceae. It is difficult to reproduce sexually due to a large number of long-term mining, growth environment damage and natural pollination difficulties. Therefore,it could only rely on asexual reproduction.Through literature review, this study expounded the orchid seed morphological structure, the cause of seed dormancy and promote seed germination method and current difficulties, aiming to provide a reference for promoting the orchid seed germination, shortening the seed germination period, and to provide a theoretical basis for effectively solving the rapid propagation of seeds and seedlings and large-scale planting of rhododendron.
