Abstract:
A low temperature sensitive common beans variety ‘Renaya’ was used as the experimental material.The foliar spraying method was used, when common bean seedlings grow two leaves and one heart, CK(room temperature control),LT(low temperature treatment),25SA(low temperature spraying 25 mg·L
-1 SA),50SA(low temperature spraying 50 mg·L
-1 SA),75SA(spraying 75 mg·L
-1 SA at low temperature) and 100SA(spraying 100 mg·L
-1 SA at low temperature) 6 different concentrations treatment were carried out.The effects of different concentrations of salicylic acid on the growth and cold resistance of common beans seedlings under low temperature stress were studied, in order to provide reference for effective defense of common beans under low temperature stress.The results showed that spraying 50 mg·L
-1 SA at low temperature had the best effect on improving the cold resistance of common beans seedlings.It increased the growth indicators, relative water content, antioxidant enzyme activity, osmoregulation substances, photosynthetic pigment content, photosynthesis, and endogenous salicylic acid content of common beans seedlings at low temperature, and reduced the relative conductivity, MDA content, and ■ production rate.
