Abstract:
Low temperature stress has a critical impact on the growth of Phalaenopsis,the auxiliary heating passes through the intelligent greenhouse with highcost and serious energy consumption,which restricts the sustainable development of Phalaenopsis industry.Selection of Phalaenopsis varieties with cold tolerance is helpful to improve economic and ornamental benefits.In this study,the recent advances in research of Phalaenopsis response to low temperature were reviewed preliminarily,including the effects of morphology,physiological and biochemical property,molecular response,as well as the measures to enhance the cold resistance of Phalaenopsis.Furthermore,the study also analyzed the limitations of the current experimental results and prospected the future research direction,hoping to provide reference for revealing the mechanism of response to low temperature stress,the identification and breeding of cold-resistant varieties.
