Abstract:
Taking virus seedlings, shoot tip virus-free seedlings and ‘electric’ therapy virus-free seedlings as experimental materials, the effects of drought stress on morphological characteristics, chlorophyll, relative water content of leaves, osmoregulatory substances and antioxidant enzyme activities of the three materials were studied by simulating drought stress with different concentrations of PEG 6000(0%,5%,10% and 15%),in order to provide reference for the application and promotion of detoxified groundnut in field cultivation. The results showed that the growth of the three materials was significantly inhibited under PEG 6000 stress. With the extension of rooting days, plant height, rooting number, root length and fresh weight decreased, but the growth of virus-free seedlings obtained by ‘electric’ therapy was the best. With the increase of drought stress, the chlorophyll content of virus-free seedlings obtained by ‘electric’ therapy first decreased and then increased. The virus-free seedlings in shoot tip culture decreased slightly, while the virus-free seedlings showed a downward, upward and then downward trend. The relative water content of leaves decreased gradually. The contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and activities of CAT,SOD and POD showed a continuous upward trend with the deepening of stress, and the content of virus-free seedlings treated with ‘electric’ therapy was the highest. Therefore, the ‘electric’ treatment of virus-free seedlings had strong drought resistance, which could provide a demonstration reference for the study of drought resistance mechanism and field cultivation of Rehmannia glutinosa.
