Abstract:
Based on the planting data of 14vegetable varieties in 30provinces of China from 2011to2020,we measured the level of vegetable production agglomeration and production technical efficiency, and further explored the influence of production agglomeration on vegetable production technical efficiency by using the Tobit model,in order to provide reference for optimizing vegetable production layout and stabilizing the effective supply of vegetables. The results showed that the technical efficiency of vegetable production in most of China′s main vegetable producing provinces was low at present, and there was still a large room for improvement. The areas with high production concentration level were mainly concentrated in the southeast, and the specialization level of major vegetable producing areas led by Henan Province needed to be further improved.Production agglomeration can effectively improve the technical efficiency of vegetable production, and the conclusion was still valid after the robustness test.Per capita urban road area, vegetable commodity rate and urbanization rate can effectively improve the technical efficiency of vegetable production, while fertilizer input and rural residents′income can significantly inhibit the technical efficiency of vegetable production.
