Abstract:
Biochar has unique physical and chemical properties and high stability. As a carbon sequestration means to enhance soil carbon sink, biochar agricultural application shows great potential in reducing carbon emissions. This study introduced the related research results at home and abroad, and the carbon sequestration mechanism of biochar and its influence on soil microbial ecology and greenhouse gas emission were summarized. The influence law and regulation mechanism of biochar on CO

2O emission in soil were emphatically expounded. It was found that applying biochar had a significant impact on soil greenhouse gas emissions, and it showed a promoting or inhibiting effect under different environmental conditions, and the related research was not sufficient. In the future, the influence law,dose-effect relationship and regulation mechanism of biochar on greenhouse gas emissions under the influence of large-scale,different soil textures and complex environmental conditions should be further developed. In order to comprehensively evaluate the application potential of biochar agricultural application as a carbon sequestration means, and provide reference for the realization of China′s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
