Abstract: Henan Province is a major province in the cultivation of pod pepper（Capsicum annuum var.frutescens L.）,planting area and sales ranked first in the country.This study analyzed the existing problems in the development of pod pepper industry in Henan Province, and put forward development countermeasures and suggestions such as cultivating excellent varieties, production standardization, integration of three industries, coordinated crop rotation, strengthening water conservancy construction, strengthening brand, in order to provide reference for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of pod pepper industry in Henan Province.
