Abstract:
The germplasm resources of 5 species of hawthorn in Xinjiang were used as samples, in vitro leaf method, in vitro branch method and in vitro young fruit method were caried out.The effects of artificial inoculation of 5 species of hawthorn on the identification and evaluation of resistance of pear fire blight bacteria in laboratory were studied, in order to provide reference for the selection of quality of hawthorn trees in urban streets in Xinjiang and the selection and control of hawthorn germplasm resources resistant to pear fire blight. The results showed that the leaves, branches and young fruits of five hawthorn varieties showed different degrees of susceptibility to pear fire blight at the same time. The moderately susceptible varieties were Crataegus sanguinea Pall.,Crataegus remotilobata H. Raik. ex Popov, Crataegus songorica K. Koch.,and the highly susceptible varieties were Crataegus chlorocarpa Lenne. et Koch.,Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. var. Major.
