Research Progress on the Characteristics and Utilization of Apple Rootstock Resources in China

In order to correctly select and utilize apple rootstocks,and to develop the economic cultivation mode of apple,this study introduced the breeding methods of domestic rootstock resources and their characteristics,and described the research progress of rootstock resources in China,starting from the aspects of resistance,root growth and dwarfing mechanism of rootstock resources,and taking the grafting technology and rootstock affinity as the starting point,in order to provide reference for the utilization of rootstock resources,evaluation of rootstock combinations and formation of a complete rootstock evaluation system in this region.
