Research Progress on Yardlong Bean Breeding in China

Yardlong bean is one of the important vegetable crops, with a long history of cultivation, widespread cultivation and high economic value.This study summarized the breeding status of yard long bean varieties in China from the aspects of germplasm resources, breeding direction, cultivation technology and breeding technology, pointed out the shortcomings of current research, and put forward corresponding suggestions, aiming to provide ideas for further research in the future.
