Influence of Green Trade Barriers on Export of Tomato and Its Products in Xinjiang

  • Based on the export data of Xinjiang tomato and its products from 2002 to 2020,the intensity of green trade barriers was quantified,and the trade gravity model was used to explore the impact of green trade barriers on the export of Xinjiang tomato and its products,and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions,in order to reduce the hindering effect of green trade barriers.The results showed that green trade barriers hinder the export trade of Xinjiang tomato and its products.For every 1% increase in the intensity of green trade barriers in importing countries,the export of Xinjiang tomato and its products decreases by 4.03%.At the same time,it was found that the export scale of Xinjiang tomato and its products was positively correlated with the economic scale of the importing country and the economic scale of Xinjiang,and was negatively correlated with the geographical distance.
