Abstract
Two kinds of Elaeagnus angustifolia L.seeds originated Ningxia,Gansu Provenances respectively were used as the experimental materials.Different proportions of two neutral salts(NaCl and Na2 SO4)and two alkaline salts(NaHCO3 and Na2CO3)were mixed into 3 combinations A(NaCl∶Na2SO4=1∶1),B(NaCl∶Na2SO4∶NaHCO3 ∶Na2CO3 =1∶1∶1∶1),C(NaHCO3∶Na2CO3=1∶1)),and set 5 concentration gradients(0%,0.3%,0.6%,0.9%,1.2%),in order to provide reference for the salt tolerance of Elaeagnus angustifolia L.seeds germination and introduction of Elaeagnus angustifolia L..The germination of Elaeagnus angustifolia L.seeds under differernt saline-alkali mixed stresses were compared. The results showed that mixed saline-alkali stress at low concentration could promote the germination of seeds, and the germination potential, germination rate and germination index of seeds were higher than the control. With the gradual increase of concentration, its indexes showed a downward trend.Inhibitory extent were different under different salt-alkaline,alkali stress>salt stress>saline-alkali mixed stress.Gansu Provenance showed better saline-alkali tolerance than Ningxia provenance.
