Effects of Different Illumination Methods of LED on Growth of Lilium brownii in vitro

  • The ‘Solbourne’ was used as the test material, two illumination modes of LED side illumination and top illumination with different inclined angles were adopted, combined with different shapes of curved reflective film and flat reflective film to clarify the effects of eight different combinations of LED lighting methods on the growth of lilies in vitro,in order to provide reference for lilies in vitro and factory seedling improvement.The results showed that eight kinds of different illumination methods of lilies in vitro on morphology and physiology were better than those of the control treatment.Among them, the treatment 5 with oblique 69.77° lateral illumination and plane reflective film was more conducive to the growth of lilies in vitro on stem and leaf growth.Its leaf width, fresh weight of aerial parts, dry weight of aerial parts, chlorophyll b content, total chlorophyll content were higher than other treatments.In terms of root development, treatment 2′s lilies in vitro with oblique 79.89° lateral illumination and curved reflective film was overall better than the other.Its root number, fresh weight of root, dry weight of root, root activity, and many other indicators were significantly higher than other treatments.Therefore, treatment 5 with oblique 69.77° lateral illumination and plane reflective film had the best effect in promoting stem and leaf growth of lilies in vitro,and treatment 2 with oblique 79.89° lateral illumination and curved reflective film was beneficial to root growth.
