Abstract
Grapes were taken as scions grafted onto different rootstocks from 7 cultivars, included 5BB,5C,101-14M,188-08,Beta, SO4 and 110R,with non-grafted vines as control to evaluate and measure the growth potential and fruit quality of ‘Chunguang’ grapes, and with principal component analysis method for comprehensive evaluation, in order to provide reference for selecting good rootstocks by exploring the effects of rootstocks on growth, yield and quality of ‘Chunguang’ grapes in Hebei. The results showed that seven rootstocks had no significant effect on growth, the fruit yield of ‘Chunguang’ grafted with 101-14M,188-08,Beta, SO4 and 110R rootstocks decreased to different degrees, and the most significant was 101-14M and SO4.5C and 110R significantly increased total soluble solids and the ratio of total soluble solids to titratable acid.Whereas SO4 significantly decreased total soluble solids content and TSS-acid ratio, and significantly increased titratable acid content.Rootstocks 101-14M and SO4 produced berries with the lowest hardness, principal component analysis showed that among the seven rootstocks, 5C had advantages in TSS,TSS/TA and hardness. In conclusion, among the 7 rootstocks, 5C improved the fruit, so it was suitable for ‘Chunguang’.However, the fruit quality and yield of ‘Chunguang’ grafted with SO4 as rootstock decreased, and it was the most unsuitable rootstock for spring light grafted.
