Abstract
Gansu local walnut variety ‘Egg Skin Walnut’ was used as the test material.The principal component analysis method was carried out.The effects of seven main characters, such as average yield, single fruit weight, crude fat content, crude protein content, green skin thickness, fruit shape index and water content of 20 preferred lines were studied, in order to screen out the best strain of ‘Egg Skin Walnut’ and the evaluation method of the best economic characters.The results showed that, three main components were obtained, of which the contribution rate of crude fat was 32.179%,crude protein contribution rate was 22.594%,water contribution rate was 17.083%,the cumulative contribution rate was 71.855%.According to the comprehensive score of principal components, No.10,No.2,No.5,No.11 and No.20 were the top five.The results were consistent with the actual performance of the breed, principal component analysis could be used as one of the main methods to evaluate the comprehensive economic characters of ‘Egg Skin Walnut’.
