‘Zidingxinguan’ is a new mid-fruit watermelon variety bred by crossing 491 X as female parent and 298 X as male parent.The growth period is about 82-88 days.Average seat melon section in the main cross section 14-16 or so.The growth potential is medium.Its fruit type is high round.The peal is green in color with greenish black stripes.The bright red flesh is crisp and delicious.The center sugar content is 12%.The thickness of peel is 1 cm.The single fruit weight is about 4.5 kg, and the yield per 667 m~2 is about 4 t.It is suitable for small shed and open field cultivate in all parts of Xinjiang.
