Research Progress on Eggplant Resistance to Bacterial Wilt Disease

Eggplant bacterial wilt is a globally widespread disease, severely threatens eggplant production.In recent years, scholars from both domestic and foreign origins have extensively studied this disease and made certain progress.This study provided an overview of the research progress on eggplant bacterial wilt, focusing on the classification and infection process of the bacterial pathogen, the genetic regulation of eggplant resistance to bacterial wilt, the genes associated with eggplant resistance, and the comprehensive control strategies against bacterial wilt.
