Abstract: During the vaporized process of liquefied natural gas（LNG）, it releases a great deal of cryogenic energy. With the increasing demand for cryogenic energy in cold chain logistics, taking cryogenic energy released from LNG as the supplementary cold source can effectively expand the realization path of cryogenic energy supply and thus changes current single mode of cryogenic energy supply. This paper summarizes and reviews the utilization of LNG cryogenic energy at home and abroad, the demand and application of LNG cold energy in cold chain logistics industry in China, analyzes and points out the problems existing in the application of LNG cold energy in cold chain logistics industry, and puts forward some suggestions for the future utilization of LNG cold energy as a new cold source in the cold chain logistics industry.
