Abstract:
In this study, the Artemisia argyi was used as test material, and the total flavonoids were extracted under microwave assistance, then the extraction process was optimized by response surface analysis. Results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were determined as follows: microwave power of 400 W, microwave time of 5 min, material-liquid ratio of 1∶80(g/mL), under these conditions, the extraction yield of total flavonoids was 14.22%. The antioxidant analysis results showed that the mass concentrations of total flavonoids in Artemisia argyi presented a linear relation with scavenging ability of DPPH free radical and total reduction ability in vitro, and the total flavonoids with mass concentration of 1.0 g/mL displayed the strongest DPPH free radical scavenging ability and total reducing power in vitro.
